The Main Lodge at Fort Buis:
Guests stay in a 4-star lodge offering ample rooms and beds to choose from. The lodge has been tastefully decorated in an eclectic style combining the comforts of an old farmhouse with the ambience of a contemporary safari lodge. Bedrooms are individually decorated and styles vary from colonial flair to African simplicity.
The Main Lodge offers a spacious dining room with a fully fitted kitchen overlooking a pond, with picturesque rolling hills forming the backdrop. A fully-equipped bar, with big screen TV. A farm dam that has been converted into a swimming pool allows guests to cool off in the heat of the day or the more adventurous can head out to a secluded natural rock pool set in one of the ravines.
Our Lodge offers an array of accommodations, from a cosy Log Cabin to Twin and Double Rooms, plus 4 brand-new rooms, all featuring modern, stylish bathrooms and fully-equipped kitchens.

In addition to the kitchen, Fort Buis offers lush lawns and garden areas that are perfect for picnics or simply relaxing in the fresh air. The well-maintained grounds provide a peaceful setting where you can unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the North West Province.
One of the highlights of the property is the dam, which adds to the overall tranquillity of Fort Buis. The dam is a perfect spot for a quiet moment of reflection or simply enjoying the serene surroundings. Whether you’re sitting by the water with a cup of coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the dam provides a peaceful and picturesque setting.

Cancellation Policy:
– More than 1 month before check-in: 100% deposit refunded
– More than 1 week before check-in: 50% deposit refunded
– Less than 1 week before check-in: No refund
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
– A R6000-00 non-refundable deposit for 2 – 8 people & R12000-00 Non-refundable deposits for 10 – 16 people are payable within 7 hours of booking.
-This is so that you know your booking will only be confirmed once your deposit has been received.
– All outstanding amounts are to be settled prior to departure.
